Gorgeous night for an outdoor show. It’s been almost 10 years since I was here. Forgot just how wonderful of a setting this is.
Ironically, I am sitting alone right now. Debra’s folks are off to grab sone dinner while Debra runs back to put her mom’s camera in the car. No cameras allowed here.
Let me repeat: I’m here alone. Typing on my iPhone. The new one, the one that has the 3MP camera that also does video. The same one I used to shoot this video. How idiotic are these rules?
In this age when everyone has a cell phone with a camera, why not embrace the fact and *encourage* people to take photos, post videos, tweet and drive awareness of the show?
What’s the worry? That I might watch a YouTube video instead of actually buying tickets to the concert? Entirely different experiences. One is about sitting at your desk and getting a taste of being there. The other is about *actually* being there. Apples and oranges. I don’t think they even compete with each other.
