Unbelievable speed
The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is the famed “TT” race that has for over 100 years flown through the streets of an island in the Irish Sea. The video below follows 2009 race winner Steve Plater through the course from a camera mounted on his bike. The speed is overwhelming, and I have no idea how professional racers react as quickly as they do. I think what is most stunning is how quickly his bike comes up to speed off the start. Heart-in-your-throat stuff right there.
