I think what upsets me the most is that they misspelled "microwave"

Well, at least they're staying healthy

The extra "pe" makes it fancy

The $2 million Leica lens

"Rumor has it that this lens was made for a wealthy African prince. He went to Leica to get a custom made lens and he came out with a LEICA APO-TELYT-R 1:5.6/1600mm...worth 2 million US dollars. So far there are only 2 in the world, one of them in the Leica factory in Germany."

I love how they upsized the Leica logo, too.

That's tape?

My reaction on seeing this stunning art installation. The setting, inside an old stock exchange building in Vienna, just adds to the drama of the work. Makes me want to crawl around inside the 'webs.'

Hands on with the DODOCase

I received my new DODOCase, and thought I'd share a few photos and a brief video that I made when I opened it up.

Overall, I love it. And it looks even better in person than it does in the photos.

The materials appear to be of very high quality, and it seems to be assembled well. One of the rubber corner pads had lifted up a bit when I received it, and after pressing it back down, it has started to loosen up again. I will probably dab a bit of glue there to fix it.

I was a little concerned that the iPad would not be that secure inside the DODOCase, especially since it is merely held by friction against the corner rubber pads. While it would surely fly out of the case if you gave it a good shake, in day to day use, it is very secure. And, of course, with the cover closed and fastened with the elastic strap, the iPad's not going anywhere.

DODCase is telling folks that orders are taking about 4-6 weeks to ship, and mine, ordered on May 3, was right in the middle of that window.

At $49.95, it's not the cheapest iPad case available, but I'm extremely pleased with quality and functionality. And the fact it looks like a large moleskine is pretty great, too.

Carries a dog, looks like an iPod, accelerates on its own

We drove home from the dealership entirely off-road, tearing up backyards and parks along the way. Didn't intend to, but the floor mat got stuck on the accelerator.
